Cold chain & perishables

Perishable freight, moved with urgency

Refrigerated ocean, temperature-controlled air and cold-chain trucking for cargo that can't wait — coordinated door-to-door through Miami.

Miami is the gateway for perishables moving between Latin America, the Caribbean and North America — and the worst place for cargo to sit still. GEOLogistiXs coordinates every leg of the cold chain so temperature-sensitive freight stays at set point and on schedule, from the moment it leaves the farm or plant to the final delivery.

Why speed and temperature control matter

Perishable cargo has a clock running from the moment it's harvested or packed. Every hour at the wrong temperature or in the wrong hands shortens shelf life, and shelf life is what your buyer is paying for. A missed vessel, a reefer set to the wrong setting, or a container held an extra day at the terminal can turn a premium shipment into a claim.

That's why we plan perishable moves backwards from arrival — booking the space first, building the schedule around the earliest reliable sailing or flight, and keeping a team on the shipment so a delay at any point triggers an immediate fix instead of a weekend surprise.

Downtime is the enemy — we engineer it out.

How we coordinate your shipment

01

Pickup

We collect at the farm, plant, cold store or supplier with the right equipment — reefer truck, dry van or air container — booked to your production and packing schedule.

02

Transport

Pre-cooled equipment, set points confirmed before loading, and the fastest routing to port or airport. Temperature-controlled transfers so cargo never sits in the heat.

03

Customs

Export and import documentation, FDA and USDA entry coordination where required, and brokers lined up on both ends so clearance happens in hours, not days.

04

Delivery

Final-mile delivery to distributors, DCs or retailers — appointment-scheduled, with milestone updates to your team at every handoff.

Miami skyline and port, gateway for perishable freight in the Americas

Miami: the cold-chain gateway

Our team is based at the center of the Americas' perishable trade. Reefer vessels calling South and Central America and the Caribbean, air cargo capacity into and out of Miami International, temperature-controlled warehousing, and customs brokers who know seasonal produce programs — all in one place, with one team accountable for the whole move.

Whether your product arrives by sea and continues north by reefer truck, or lands by air and goes straight to a distributor, we build the route around the cargo — not the other way around.
